Most everyone has a favorite sports team they follow. It could be from any professional sport, minor league team, college team or high school team. For some fans their favorite team might be from where they were born, where they went to school, or a team they simply like because of the name or players on the team, or a team they follow based on where they live. Regardless of the reason, these teams become a part of their life in some way. Interestingly, there are some funny, unusual and fascinating team names found throughout the United States that many people support. The following is a quiz put together for you to try and see how much you really know about some of the sports team names from places that field teams and compete in different leagues around the country. The teams are made up of colleges, minor league professional baseball, some high school teams and an NBA G League team and a CFL football team.
