The City’s Environmental Programs team hosted a booth at the San Diego Humane Society Walk for Animals at Kit Carson Park on Saturday, March 16. Over 1,000 people attended the event. Staff spoke with attendees about the importance of cleaning up pet waste to prevent bacteria pollution of our waterways and shared resources and rebates available for residents interested in water-efficient landscaping and devices.
