Ignite the Heart of Community: Inaugural Love Esco Day Sparks Escondido on February 3, 2024

Escondido, California – February 3, 2024 – Love Esco Day, a celebration of community volunteerism in Escondido, is set to captivate hearts and minds on Saturday, February 3. This event will bring individuals from diverse backgrounds together to uplift and enrich the tapestry of our community.

Inspired by a simple yet powerful notion – love for one’s community – Love Esco emerged in 2021. In its first two years, this heartfelt initiative has witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 1,000 dedicated citizens, all joining hands to serve and make a positive impact through 50+ service projects in Escondido parks, schools, neighborhoods, and local nonprofits and businesses.

The festivities commence at Grape Day Park, offering a vibrant array of activities suitable for the entire family. As part of the celebration, local vendors will be present, generously offering giveaways, musical entertainment, and more. This year’s Love Esco Day presents an exciting lineup of projects for participants to choose from. Engage in the creation of school gardens, contribute to baked goods for first responders, or participate in trail cleanups – these projects are designed to showcase the community’s collective power to effect positive change.

“Love Esco is more than an event; it’s a day that unites the community, fostering connections between neighbors and reminding us all of the transformative power that individuals possess to change the world,” emphasizes Love Esco Board Member, George Weir.

Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, February 3, for Love Esco Day – a celebration that goes beyond beautifying our city; it’s a testament to the enduring strength of community spirit. Participate in Love Esco Day by displaying a poster on your window, providing a discount to volunteers, sponsoring the event, or signing up for one of our service projects!
