City Manager John Conley announced this morning the promotion of Imelda M. Huerta to Assistant City Manager. Huerta has been an energizing presence at the City of Vista since 2000 when she began her career in public service. Most recently, she has served as Assistant to the City Manager and, before that, in other positions in various departments. In Vista, her experience in leading teams includes serving as project manager of the Pala Vista Park construction project (opening later this year) and implementing key initiatives, legislative affairs, team building, and oversight of several staff and divisions.
