Bahram and Judith drove to Phoenix, Arizona, on February 27th for the International Impact Book Awards Gala at the Hilton Hotel, where Judith was awarded a trophy for her children’s book, The American Cat and the Persian Family. Judith is an award-winning artist and included four of her paintings as illustrations in the book.
Judith said, “When I entered my book in this contest, I had no idea I was going to have such an inspirational experience receiving my award.”
Shadzi is the new President of the Valley Center Art Gallery. She is also on the board of Friends of Hell Hole Canyon, was a founding board member of Valley Center Business Association, an Ambassador for the Valley Center Chamber of Commerce for 8 Years, and has been a recurring annual sponsor of the Valley Center Parade and Stampede Rodeo.
Bahram and Judith Shadzi have resided on an orchard in Valley Center with their cat, Una, for twenty years. They started their business, Cosmic Solar & Roofing, in their guest house 18 years ago.
