Kaaboo Del Mar Donates to North County Lifeline for Family Holiday Wish Lists

KAABOO DEL MAR SPREADS HOLIDAY CHEER WITH DONATIONS TO NORTH COUNTY LIFELINE FOR FAMILY WISH LISTS
The holidays are upon us, and KAABOO Del Mar is helping to make the season bright for Southern California families. The Del Mar, California festival – recently nominated for Pollstar Magazine’s “Music Festival of the Year” – has partnered with non-profit North County Lifeline (NCL) to assist in easing the financial burden carried by underprivileged communities throughout San Diego.

From now until Christmas, KAABOO will donate $10 from every KAABOO Del Mar ticket purchase to NCL, and help deliver household essentials, groceries, and gifts to families in need.
“We are honored to have KAABOO step forward with such incredible generosity,” says Shannon Stubblefield, Associate Executive Director of Philanthropy at North County Lifeline.

“Many of North County Lifeline’s families are struggling to make ends meet, which can make the holidays a stressful time. KAABOO has truly stepped up as a community leader in giving back this holiday season. All of us at Lifeline are truly grateful for all they have given. Thank you, thank you!”

KAABOO Del Mar began their partnership with North County Lifeline this past fall. In less than a month, KAABOO has already helped to sponsor 10 families, and as sales of tickets continue to grow, more families will be able to benefit. The festival is committed to giving back to the Southern California local community and will hand-select and wrap all gifts delivered to North County Lifeline for distribution. Early bird tickets purchased between now and December 24th will be honored for the promotion, regardless of pass type.

KAABOO’s philanthropy efforts also extend through charitable endeavors such as the KAABOO KINDNESS program, which began in 2015. For every ticket purchased, a $1 donation is allocated to the KAABOO KINDNESS program which also receives funds via a silent auction during the Del Mar event. In 2017, partners benefiting from the KAABOO KINDNESS program included The Recording Academy’s MusiCares, Surfrider San Diego Chapter, Armed Forces YMCA and Voices for Children.
The fourth annual KAABOO Del Mar event will return to the Del Mar Race Track and Fairgrounds on September 14th – 16th, 2018. Early bird HANG LOOSE (general admission) three-day passes can be purchased for $209; HANG FIVE weekend passes are available for $799; and HANG TEN weekend passes are on-sale for $2799. HANG FIVE features include premium stage viewing areas and/or platforms at each stage; exclusive culinary options for purchase in dedicated AMPLIFY zones; private restrooms; priority access lane at event entrances; and access to the Thursday night sneak peak pre-party. HANG TEN passes include all of the features of HANG FIVE plus access to front row on-stage viewing options; personal concierge amenities; access to the KAABOO artist lounge; exclusive meet and greets; complimentary food and beverages prepared by exclusive chefs; golf cart access; and much more. All current pass levels are on track to sell out by December 24th, at which time passes will become unavailable for purchase until after the music lineup is announced in the spring.
