November 11, 2023, Vista, CA—Soroptimist International of Vista and North County Inland will welcome guest speaker Kathleen Ables, USMC Major (retired), at the club’s November Program Luncheon to be held Friday, November 17 at 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Wildwood Crossing & Cantina, 116 Civic Center Drive, Vista. Ables will speak about the challenges face by women in the military over her 20 year career. She was one of the first females to serve as a commanding officer in a predominantly male unit.
