Brad Wiscons, President of The Kiwanis Club of Sunrise Vista presented a check for $400 to Debbie Medrano, of the Vista Teen Outreach program, to support their Thanksgiving program. Vista Teen Outreach stocks food cupboards at 14 area schools for kids that are food insecure. They will be providing 200 Thanksgiving Dinners for students in the Vista Unified School District. Hunger Hurts. – Vista Teen Outreach
With over 1800 students in the Vista Unified School District who are hungry, homeless or both, VTO provides easy access on campus food pantries filled with food and hygiene kits to any student in need.
