On Saturday March 25, 2023 The San Diego Lions Gift of Site Program coordinated with North Coast Church in San Marcos and offered free vision screenings to over 150 adults and children of the community. The Lions collect, clean and measure the glasses, and if needed, each person will receive a free pair of refurbished prescription eyeglasses.
This event was the effort of the San Diego and Imperial County Lions Club. The equipment came from the California Friends in Site in Banning and Riverside County. They perform examinations all over the state and to schedule them is very difficult, so we are very fortunate to have them here. The San Diego Lions Gift of Site is in the process of acquiring the exam equipment so they can service more needs in San Diego and Imperial County.
