Community Cleanup Event was Held in Vista on Sunday

Sen. Catherine Blakespear, Senate District 38 hosted a community cleanup event in the City of Vista Sunday at Vista Transit Center, 101 Olive Ave. Sen. Blakespear was joined by City of Vista Deputy Mayor Corinna Contreras, Councilmember Katie Melendez, Councilmember Dan O’Donnell and CalTrans Director Ann Fox and many community organizations and residents.

This event is part of Clean California Community Days, a statewide 11-day event promoting opportunities to keep our neighborhoods free of litter. At the end of the event, volunteers had collected a total of 425 pounds of trash.
