LOOKING FOR SUPPORT FOR OUR HEROES OF VISTA EVENT APRIL 5, 2019

Vista Education Foundation (VEF) is a 501(c)3 dedicated to raising funds for the Vista Unified School District. Our major focuses are the arts, technology, scholarships and internships. We raise money to fund requests from individual district teachers in the areas noted above. We feel that all students should have access to art, music, dance as well as cutting edge technology. We also provide scholarships for graduating seniors and have, for the fourth year in a row, worked with Moonlight Youth Theater to help provide money for internships. With the budget cuts in education we try and fill in the gaps where we can.

Teacher requests can only be funded within our financial limits. We have two fund raisers a year, receive donations from individuals and actively solicit others in our community. Our largest fund raiser is coming up on April 5, 2019, the Hero’s of Vista, a collaboration between the Vista Education Foundation and the Vista Chamber of Commerce. We have both a silent and live auction and it is to this end we are asking for your support.

•You can donate items for the auctions (trips-tickets-experiences-products.)
•Buy a table at the event ($1,250 table for 8.)
•You can be a sponsor of the event,
•You can attend the event ($125 per person – tickets available at the Chamber office.)

The event not only helps raise funds, but honors leaders and educators in our community. We celebrate businesses, non-profits, a firefighter, a sheriff, military person and many more. The culmination of the evening is the swearing in of the new Chamber Board members. We would love to see you attend, support, or sponsor this community event.
