On April 9, 2020 the Community Housing Works invited the residents of Vista to a ground breaking at 501 S. Santa Fe. However, because of the COVID-19 virus the public ceremony was called off. The grading of the property started immediately. North County Daily Star had the opportunity to speak with the development team which included Mary Jane Jagodzinski-Senior Vice President, Housing and Real Estate Development, Kelly Moden-Vice President of Development and Jackie Oh-Project Manager.
