Moonlight Stage Productions took home three major awards at the 18th annual San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Awards held February 11. The awards celebrated San Diego’s major theatrical productions and artists for 2019. Moonlight was bestowed one of the major awards for the evening when its production of West Side Story was named Best Resident Musical. Also recognized for West Side Story was actress Courtney Arango winning Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical for her portrayal of Anita. Winning the Outstanding Choreography category was Colleen Kollar Smith for her work on Matilda The Musical. Moonlight Stage Productions is incredibly honored to be recognized by San Diego’s major theatre critics, and we congratulate our fellow winners and nominees.
