Today, I took a tour of The Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa to check out their new safety protocols! I’m glad to see San Diego County hotels are now open!
I teamed up with County Supervisor Kristin Gaspar to relax zoning requirements while businesses adapt to the new social distancing requirements for their customers.
This includes temporarily allowing restaurants and other businesses in the unincorporated area to use their parking and sidewalks as dining/commercial areas, allowing curbside pick-up, possibly allowing road closures in commercial districts to encourage additional pedestrian/commercial activity, and more.
