SAN MARCOS, Calif. – An NCAA provisional time and a school record highlighted the Cal State San Marcos women’s track & field team’s meets at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in Hayward, the Stanford Invitational in Stanford and the California Collegiate Open in La Jolla this weekend.
TOP FINISHES •Jax Heckers posted an NCAA Provisional time of 35:45.67 in the 10,000-meter run at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic – the third-fastest time in program history.
•Betsabe Reyes once again broke her own record in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.61 meters at the California Collegiate Open – 1.31 meters further than her previous mark.
•The team of Lauren Wyckoff, Shareen Estremera, Alyssia Gonzalez and Sierra Julian won the 4×100-meter relay at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic with a time of 47.47.
•Kau’ilani Miki-Han improved on her hammer throw mark with distance of 45.86 meters at the California Collegiate Open – second-best in program history and 2.64 meters further than her previous best.
