The City recently installed a sidewalk along a portion of Eddie Drive to provide additional pedestrian safety for those who access the Vista Village businesses and their residential neighborhood along this busy corridor. The project also improves the visual aesthetics along this section of roadway and the curb provides better storm water drainage flow.
The City’s Engineering Department, in contract with J Leon Construction, installed approximately 150 feet of curb, gutter and sidewalk to the corner at Eddie Drive and the Public Works Department will finish the project the week of October 18 by installing asphalt for the temporary corner ramp.
