s is hosting its first-ever Classic Car Show, a free, community celebration.
On Saturday, November 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the streets of North City will be lined with over 50 vehicles on display, ranging from vintage classics and woodies to modern, high-end showpieces, and a Classic Car Restoring Exhibit by Conservative Auto Body Shop.
Appealing to drivers of all ages, the family-friendly event features a Toddler Street Course of electric ride-on cars and scooters around a custom racetrack, as well as a Head-to-Head Die-Cast Cars Race Course, along with other activities and lawn games.
A live DJ will set the vibe with music, raffle prize giveaways, and announcements. Trophies will be awarded in multiple categories, including Best of Show, and guests will have a chance to win gift cards to North City’s local eateries.
Attendees can grab bites and sips from popular neighborhood spots, including Christophe Rull Patisserie, A Lo Fresco, Buona Forchetta, Maya’s Cookies, Wynston’s Ice Cream, Milonga Empanadas, and Draft Republic, and explore the neighborhood’s inviting walkable streets and colorful, public artwork.
This free community event also gives back, with proceeds benefiting a scholarship fund at California State University, San Marcos.
