Oceanside, CA : The Oceanside Chamber’s annual North County Health and Wellness Fair will be held Thursday, August 12th from 9 am to 1 pm. This event provides an opportunity for local and regional health-related businesses to promote their products and services and to reach a new audience of potential patients, clients and customers.
The event is FREE to the public and is a great way to receive important information on a wide variety of health-related issues. Attendees can meet a new health specialist, take advantage of free screenings and learn more about healthy living and well being. “This event is well received by both attendees and exhibitors and we average between 800 to 1,000 people each year,” said Kristi Hawthorne, Director of Events. “We’re pleased to offer this great event to the community year after year.”
Located in the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza at 300 North Coast Highway, the Health Fair will run concurrently with the popular Downtown Farmers’ Market. “The Health Fair was one of the few events we were able to hold last year during the COVID-19 closures. At that time, we had to scale it back to meet health department requirements. For 15 years this has been an incredibly popular event with our exhibitors and community members, so we’re very excited to be able to provide a full-scale event again this year”, said Scott Ashton, Chamber CEO.
This event is presented by Tri-City Medical Center and sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, SDG&E, HHJ Trial Attorneys and Frontwave Credit Union. Exhibit space is still available.
