Irma Trujillo, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, surrounded by her 7 children, at the age of 68. After a courageous three-year battle with a chronic illness, Irma is now at rest, free from pain, and reunited in heaven with her mother, her father, and siblings who passed before her.
Born in Escondido, CA on April 18, 1956, Irma lived a vibrant and eventful life. She was a woman of remarkable strength and determination, known for her unwavering love for her family and her passion for life. Irma approached everything she did with full force, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate to know her.
She is survived by her 7 children, who were the center of her world, and her 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. Irma also leaves behind her 5 siblings, with whom she shared countless cherished memories.
Irma’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and an unshakable spirit. She will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the deep connections she fostered with those around her.
A memorial service will be held to honor Irma’s life and celebrate the beautiful memories she created. A visitation for Irma will be held Saturday, January 25th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Magallon Funeral Home 1421 N. Santa Fe. Dr. A Celebration of Life Reception from 3:00 PM-8:00 PM at Jim Porter Recreation Center 1200 Vale Terrace Dr. While she will be deeply missed, Irma’s family finds solace in knowing that her love and light will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched.
