A new, sustainable energy option—Clean Energy Alliance (CEA)— arrives in Oceanside on April 1, 2024. The alliance includes the cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Escondido, San Marcos, and Vista. CEA will replace San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) for the purchase of energy on behalf of residents and businesses, offering local control and renewable energy options.
