Downtown Oceanside comes alive during First Friday Art Walk with art, performances, music, poetry, activities, food, and fun for all ages in Artist Alley and a variety of other venues on Friday, November 2nd from 5:00pm – 9:00pm.
Artist Alley will be filled to capacity with art, music and dancing. Strategically placed among Art Walk Artists will be five musicians performing including Ashon Sylvester in Gypsy Soul Dreaming, Steve Davidson in Holme Estate Cellars, and Melody Maker, Steelin Tin Band and Aki’s Drum Circle all in Artist Alley. FireLight Ladies will dance late in the evening at Mission Ave. and Freeman St.

The Oceanside Museun of Art will be featuring a Makers Holiday Fair, with local artists bringing their holiday best for a night of unique holiday shopping.
Sunshine Brooks Theatre on Coast Highway will be featuring the “Twists and Turns” art installation in their lobby for Art Walk patrons. The artwork is an exploration of the strange, mysterious and darker side of life. Many of the pieces pull the viewer into a world that creates a sense of unease.
Additional Mission Avenue locations featuring local artists, refreshments and music include Beach Hut Deli rocking out with local band, The Venture; and Whitlock Surf with featured artist John Sisley. Harcourt Properties located at 804 Pier View Way will also be featuring local artists, live music and refreshments.

First Friday Art Walk is a free event and is sponsored by the Oceanside Friends of the Arts.
