OCEANSIDE — A former MMA fighter and Oceanside man pleaded guilty to sexual abuse in Lincoln County, Oregon, on March 24, according to reports.
Sean Loeffler, 42, owns Compound MMA & Fitness on El Camino Real and Oceanside Boulevard, pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor sexual abuse and interception of communications offense and must register as a sex offender, per reports. He was charged on Feb. 7 with four felonies with the charging document stating the victim was a woman “incapable of consent by reason of mental incapacitation or physical helplessness.”
Loeffler was facing more than 12 years in prison and was on probation from San Diego County after pleading guilty and sentenced to two years in prison in April 2024 on two felony counts of making criminal threats and one felony charge of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant.

He was paroled from San Diego in November, according to Megan Andrew of Oceanside and one of the victims in the 2024 case.
Mike Arnold, Loeffler’s Oregon attorney, said his client was falsely accused and he was the “real victim,” according to San Diego’s ABC 10. Arnold said the victim presented several conflicting statements as no details of the February incident have been released, the station reported.
