Oceanside Police Department Conducts Search Warrant and Arrest

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the Oceanside Police Department’s SWAT, Crisis Negotiations Team, and UAS (drone), served a narcotics search warrant in Vista, CA. This case was the result of a proactive traffic stop by the Oceanside Police Department’s, Gang Suppression Unit. During the traffic stop, narcotics were located. Officers believed the driver of the vehicle was selling narcotics in Oceanside, and referred the information from the traffic stop, to OPD Narcotics Unit for follow-up.

During the investigation, search warrants for the suspect’s vehicle and residence were obtained. Upon execution of the search warrants, officers located and seized three firearms, one pound of suspected methamphetamine, one ounce of suspected cocaine, and $5700 in suspected drug proceeds. Also located, were suspected mushrooms and marijuana for sales. George Luis Antonio (23-years-old) and his brother, Jesus Amador (28-years-old), were both arrested on drug sales and weapons charges. Both suspects were booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
