Oceanside’s EMT program is funded by Measure X and provides EMTs with real experience that matters in the second busiest Department in San Diego County. Oceanside EMTs are provided the flexibility to attend Fire Academy and Paramedic School and 40 EMTs have recently moved on to become Oceanside Firefighter/Paramedics.
