Measure X is Oceanside’s 1/2 cent sales tax measure that began in April 2019. It helps fund public safety programs, infrastructure improvements, road repairs, and aid for homelessness. Measure X is funding the construction of the Oceanside Fire Department’s Training Tower, which recently broke ground. OFD will have state-of-the-art technology to train on realistic structural and rescue scenarios to continually improve service, and protect lives and property in our community.
