This Sunday, June 28, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, downtown Carlsbad Village will welcome more than 160 juried artists, live music, interactive experiences, family-friendly activities, and thousands of visitors for the 28th Annual Art in the Village.

Explore More Than 160 Artists
Art in the Village features more than 160 juried artists showcasing original works in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, glasswork, mixed media, woodwork, and more.
It’s the perfect opportunity to meet artists, learn about their work, and discover a piece that speaks to you.

Watch Art Come to Life
Throughout the day, visitors can experience creativity in action.
Artist Taylor Gallegos will create a live mural during the event, while local artists Cecelia Linayao and Meg Beverly Canilang will transform the streets with colorful chalk art. Guests can also enjoy live sculpting and painting demonstrations happening throughout the event footprint.
Enjoy Live Music Throughout the Village
Art in the Village isn’t just about visual arts.
The Main Stage will feature performances from the cast of Hairspray from New Village Arts, Zavala Sol, and David Spitzfaden, while sidewalk musicians will perform throughout the Village all day long.
Be sure to stop by the Carlsbad Village Music Stage, where local musicians, students, and instructors will be performing and sharing their talents with the community.
Fun for the Whole Family
Families will find plenty to enjoy throughout the event.
The City of Carlsbad Cultural Arts Pop-Up Art Booth will offer hands-on creative activities, and the Carlsbad Village Music Stage will feature interactive musical experiences designed especially for children.

One of the best parts of Art in the Village is experiencing it in the heart of Carlsbad Village.
Grab a coffee, enjoy lunch at one of the Village’s restaurants, browse local boutiques, and spend the day exploring everything our downtown has to offer between artist booths and performances.
Getting Here
Parking throughout the Village will be limited during the event.
If possible, consider taking the NCTD Coaster to the Carlsbad Village Station, which is just a short walk from the event and an easy way to avoid searching for parking.
