Only Losers Litter celebrated their one-year anniversary (they began in January 2017) and now they are in their second year as Caped Community Crusaders and going strong! Last Sunday, February 18, 2018, 35 participants with kids and dogs, helped to clean up trash at the Creek Walk area between Frazier Farms and the Wave Waterpark next to the new apartments under construction. The parking lot behind the Cinepolis Theater and BackStreet Pizza was also cleared of trash. Danny from Frazier Farms was kind enough to let them bring all of the trash to their dumpsters for removal at the end of the clean up, which consisted of nine bags of trash and one bag of recyclables. This was all done from 2:00-3:30 pm.

Everyone enjoyed a nice sunny day, and the parking lot and Creek looked fantastic in the end. The next Only Losers Litter Trashwalk will be on Sunday March 18th. Come out and help clean up our City. Jones from The Woman’s Club of Vista and Alta Vista Gardens, and all the volunteers, for their commitment in keeping Vista a beautiful and clean City to enjoy.
