Jean Cole was a longtime Vista resident who was committed to service and community. This commitment was reflected in her work at the YMCA, the City of Vista, the United Methodist Church of Vista and, her dedication to the clients and staff of Operation HOPE-North County. Jean served on the founding committee for Operation HOPE-North County in 2003, envisioning a safe haven for families with the support needed for them to secure stable housing, reclaim hope and independence.
Commitment to service and community were the pillars of Jean Cole’s life. We honor her legacy through the Jean Cole Commitment to Service Award by recognizing our community members who embody the same spirit of commitment to serving and enriching our community.
Please submit nominations for the award below by February 21, 2020. All nominations will be reviewed by the committee and recipients will be recognized at the 2020 Spring into HOPE Event.
