As you might know. we have moved one building over and are now at:
2780 La Mirada Dr Suite E, Vista, CA 92081.We reorganized the lab for better workflows and optimized working space, and the best part about the new space is a larger meeting room for new and bigger events.
We’re also now offering three different membership plans that are tailored for Makers, Entrepreneurs and Corporate members. Details are available on our memberships overview page.
We’ll also be moving to a new web site and domain name soon soon – keep an eye out for www.osml.us. Our current email addresses and web links will still work and then forward to the new location – this is just a heads up for when you see the new name.

Reframe/Reboot Coding Challenge (Vista):
On Sunday, November 17, 10 AM-3 PM we’re hosting a Reframe/Reboot Coding Challenge. Inspired by CodeRetreat and Exercism.io, our Reframe/Reboot event encourages you to explore new coding languages. This is an inclusive event and great for all skill levels. Facilitators will be onsite to help you make progress on your new coding language learning development. Please RSVP here.
OSML 5th Anniversary:
In December we will be combining the Entrepreneur Speaker Series with our 5-year Anniversary! December 12 we will be featuring a panel discussion about entrepreneurship in North County which will include the story behind OSML and other successful, local start-ups. Come join us for a variety of demonstrations and updates on our projects, and meet some of our most creative entrepreneurs and innovators! ONGOING EVENTS
San Diego Tech Hub’s Open Source Saturdays are every Saturday from 10 AM – 2 PM at OSML. If you are a new developer who would like to learn how to contribute to open source, you will find experienced contributors who can provide guidance. If you are an experienced developer yourself, you will find a motivating, collaborative atmosphere to have fun making new contributions.
– Metal Shop Basics: Learn the basics of our Metal shop; every 2 weeks on Thursdays (6 PM – 8 PM)
– Intro to 3D Printing: a basic introduction to additive manufacturing using our two 3D printers; every other week on Thursdays (6 PM – 8 PM)
– Fridays 6 PM – 8 PM we rotate Laser Cutting 101 on our 80W Laser Cutter/Engraver and Wood Shop Basics.
