The Army Corps of Engineers just released a long overdue historic plan for Oceanside: a 50-year federal commitment to renourish our beaches, with over 1 million cubic yards of sand every 10 years from the pier to the Buena Vista Lagoon. It’s one of several efforts working to reverse decades of erosion caused by Camp Pendleton Harbor, and Save Oceanside Sand (SOS) helped shape it by advocating to get our entire shoreline included. Now your voice can help carry it forward- the Army Corps is seeking public comments and we need your voice to show strong community support for this federal commitment! Send an email now showing your support for Oceanside’s beaches.
