OHS junior Jesus Montano Perez won Best of Show at the AR Gurrey Jr. Surf Photography Competition hosted by the Oceanside Surf Museum. Montano Perez’s winning photograph “Display” was of members of the OHS surf team.
OHS sophomore Colin DuBois won first place in the category Surf Action from the Water with his photograph “Dawn Patrol”.
OHS junior Alan Carter won first place in the category Surf Portraits with his photograph
“Oside Log Walker”.
ECHS sophomore Alberto Salazar won second place in the category Boards, Equipment & Surf Cars with his photograph “Life Watch”.
OHS students Angel Rodriguez and Ethan Thoresen both received Honorable Mention for their photos.
