SAN DIEGO, Calif. – North County’s Pizza Port Brewing Company and Karl Strauss Brewing Company, two legends of the San Diego brewing scene, today re-release their fan-favorite collaboration Nectaron of the Gods IPA. Part of the proceeds from the tropical West Coast IPA will benefit Restaurants Care, a non-profit fund that supports California restaurant workers facing unexpected hardships.
The beer is available at the Pizza Port locations in Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad Village, Port Side (Carlsbad), San Marcos, and Solana Beach, as well as at Karl Strauss’ Carlsbad brewpub. The beer, which was first released in 2023, is available on draft and in four packs of 16-oz cans at these six locations.
One dollar from every pint sold on release day today will be donated to Restaurants Care, along with one percent of all California sales during the beer’s entire run. Pizza Port and Karl Strauss have a combined 17 brewpubs in all of Southern California and employ hundreds of food-and-beverage team members.
With a 6.8 percent ABV, Nectaron of the Gods bursts with notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, peach, and pineapple – thanks to a bold hop blend of Nectaron and Elani. A golden pour, medium body, and crisp, citrusy finish make this a quintessential San Diego-style IPA.

The beer will also be featured May 31 – June 1 at Fiesta Del Sol in Solana Beach, where Karl Strauss and Pizza Port are the exclusive beer partners of the 44th annual celebration of music, art, and local culture.
