The Oceanside Police Department, in partnership with the Oceanside Police Officers Association (OPOA), will be among several law enforcement agencies in Southern California who are adopting a unique shoulder patch for Breast Cancer Awareness month (October). The patches are available for purchase at the OPOA business office, which is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and is located at 4141 Avenida De La Plata in Oceanside. The cost is $10 per patch.
The OPOA will be donating all proceeds from patch sales to Shades of Pink Foundation, a local organization that supports breast cancer victims. For questions, please contact the Oceanside Police Officers Association at 760-945-9110.
Thank you to all who plan to participate in this endeavor.
