Washington, D.C.- Today, Rep. Mike Levin (CA-49) was assigned to once again serve on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee. The Veterans’ Affairs Committee has legislative jurisdiction over all veterans’ measures including veterans’ medical care, compensation, education, and pensions. The Natural Resources Committee considers legislation about federal public lands, oceans, wildlife, and energy production on our federal lands.

These two key House Committees will enable Rep. Levin to continue shaping legislation that will deliver results for the residents of California’s 49th Congressional District based in North County San Diego and South Orange County.

“I am honored to continue serving on these two important House Committees that develop, consider, and advance legislation of enormous consequence to our District, California, and our country. We face difficult challenges that require working across the aisle to deliver results, and I remain committed to building on my bipartisan legislative record,” said Rep. Levin.

These Committee assignments will allow Rep. Levin to continue his advocacy on veterans’ issues, climate change and environmental protection, all of which are important to the residents of the 49th District.
