As we head into the busy summer season, it’s a great time for all of us to refresh our knowledge of Carlsbad’s new e-bike safety rules and help keep our streets, trails, parks, and neighborhoods safe and welcoming for everyone.
The City of Carlsbad’s 60-day warning period for the new e-bike regulations ended on Memorial Day, May 25. While the Carlsbad Police Department will continue to emphasize education, riders who violate the new laws may now be subject to citations.
