Ivey Ranch Park Association is excited to be part of the upcoming Salute to Military Kids Backpack Event, taking place on Friday, July 11 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cohen Military Family Clinic in Oceanside. This special event will support 125 military children as they prepare to head back to school with brand new backpacks and essential supplies.
Families attending the event can look forward to an afternoon filled with fun activities, helpful community resources, and a chance to connect with organizations dedicated to supporting military households. Registered students in grades Kindergarten through 12th will receive backpacks stocked with school supplies.
A standout feature of the event will be Ivey Ranch Park Association’s booth, where miniature horses will be making a special appearance. These gentle and friendly animals always bring smiles and offer a wonderful opportunity for kids to interact, learn, and experience the joy animals can bring.
Attendees can choose between two time slots, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM or from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Due to limited availability, registration does not guarantee entry, as participants will be selected at random.
