The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, Carlsbad Police Department and Oceanside Police Department to get unwanted guns off our streets.
Join us for a Gun Safety Event on:
Saturday, July 26
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Encinitas City Hall
505 South Vulcan Avenue, Encinitas
Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons).
Free gun cable locks will also be available while supplies last.
Remain anonymous. No questions asked.
Firearms must be in working order.
Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.
A deputy or officer will provide instructions.
All weapons collected will be destroyed.
