Temporary road closure scheduled along Twin Oaks Valley Rd: Tuesday (Nov. 15) and Friday (Nov. 18) 1:30-2 p.m.
Twin Oaks Valley Road between the HWY-78 bridge and North City Drive will be closed to through traffic between 1:30 and 2p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and Friday, Nov. 18. The closure is needed to accommodate blasting close to the roadway and near Hwy 78, as part of construction of the North City West project, a private development project. Please use leave early, use alternative routes or avoid the area during this time, as traffic delays are anticipated.
Caltrans and California Highway Patrol will also coordinate with the project developer and their contractors to hold traffic along HWY 78 and all connecting ramps to Twin Oaks Valley Rd until the blast is completed and cleared safely. Traffic control will be in place along Twin Oaks Valley Road and all other areas of concern, to ensure safety of the construction crews and the drivers traveling through the area.
