Sergio’s Fine Art Gallery is throwing a party on Sunday February 23rd and it’s going to be one for the record books!
Sergio Gutierrez is a San Diego local musician and acrylic artist who has been painting playing music in his studio on the grounds of Forgotten Barrel Winery located in Escondido, CA for over a year now; and he is intends to bring it to a close with a bash on Sunday afternoon!
From impromptu jam sessions to wonderful opportunities to create. The gallery has been a wonderful and enriching hub of activity for both local and out of state travelers of the North County San Diego region.
“Having the the studio and guests from the winery interact has been so much fun ” says the 32 year old painter and musician. “This weekend is about showing them what I am about”. “ I am so grateful for the community’s support and appreciation for the art”.
Starting at high noon this Sunday, Sergio intends to put on a Musical and art filled show and he wants everyone to be part of it. If you have had your eye on one of his paintings, Sunday is the day to come and get it!
The event will feature a silent auction of many of his original masterpieces and prints. “We fully intend to get this art off the walls and into peoples hands” Says the artist.
There will be free live musical performances by both Sergio and special guests. Art, Wine and food for purchase at the Forgotten Barrels Tasting room
“I was humbled at the beginning of the year to be invited in to the winery and looking back over the year I feel a real sense of accomplishment” he added. “I don’t quit; This is has been a great 12 months and my best days are ahead of me”
Come out Sunday February 23rd starting at noon and join with Sergio and celebrate the past year and the art!
“I feel so fortunate to get to do what I do every day. I just want to share this with people.”
The Forgotten Barrel facility occupies the former Ferrara Winery site designated a California historic point of interest in the 1970’s and a Historic site by the city of Escondido in 1989. The winery, was established in 1886 as one of San Diego county’s and Southern Califorinas first wineries.
