CARLSBAD, Calif. — On September 30, 2018 at 10:57 a.m., Officers from the Carlsbad Police Department responded to Tamarack Avenue just east of Edinburgh Drive regarding a report of a single motorcycle, serious injury collision. Upon arrival, Officers found a motorcycle with moderate damage lying in the roadway on Tamarack Ave along with a male that had suffered serious injuries due to the collision. The motorcycle driver was transported by the Fire Department to a local area hospital.
The driver was identified as a 54 year-old male from Vista. The investigation into the cause of the collision is underway. All roadways previously affected are now open.
