Deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station are investigating a shooting in Vista.
It happened on Sunday, April 9 just after 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of Olive Avenue and North Melrose Drive. Multiple gunshots were fired and a vehicle was heard speeding away.
Deputies immediately responded and observed the glass door to the 76 Gas Station shattered. There was one employee inside the business at the time of the shooting who was not harmed. A search of the area was conducted, but no suspect or suspect vehicle was found.
