Pedestrian struck by Sprinter in Escondido.

On 01/18/2023, at approximately 5:42 P.M., the Sheriff’s Transit Enforcement Unit was dispatched to investigate a collision involving a Sprinter train and a pedestrian that occurred near the intersection of Mission Road and Enterprise Street in the city of Escondido. Upon arrival, the subject involved in the collision was deceased. Deputies are investigating the incident and manner of death will be determined by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Tren Sprinter vs. Colisión de Peatones – Escondido
Peatón atropellado por tren.
El 18/01/2023 aproximadamente a las 1742 horas, la Unidad de Control de Tránsito del Sheriff fue enviada para investigar una colisión que involucró a un tren Sprinter y un peatón que ocurrió cerca de la intersección de Mission Road y Enterprise Street en la ciudad de Escondido. A su llegada, el sujeto involucrado en la colisión había fallecido. Los agentes están investigando el incidente y la forma de muerte será determinada por la Oficina del Médico Forense del Condado de San Diego.
