The San Marcos Sheriff’s Station is investigating a stabbing at a high school in San Marcos.
On Wednesday, October 9, just before 3:30 p.m., the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call from someone who claimed to have been stabbed at Mission Hills High School located at 1 Mission Hills Court.
While deputies made their way to the scene, a Sheriff’s School Resource Deputy at Mission Hills High found the victim on school grounds. The deputy and school staff immediately took the victim to the nurse’s office, where he began receiving care for his injuries. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
When deputies arrived at the school, they were able to get information about a possible suspect in the stabbing. He was arrested at his home a short time later.
Out of an abundance of caution, Mission Hills High School was placed on lockdown just before 3:40 p.m. The lockdown was lifted a few minutes later after a suspect was arrested.
Both the victim and suspect are students at Mission Hills High School. It is the policy of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office not to release information about minors. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Apuñalamiento – San Marcos
Mission Hills High School cerrada temporalmente.
El San Marcos Sheriff’s Substation está investigando un apuñalamiento en una escuela secundaria en San Marcos.
El Miércoles 9 de Octubre, poco antes de las 3:30 p.m., el Centro de Comunicaciones del Alguacil recibió una llamada de alguien que afirmaba haber sido apuñalado en Mission Hills High School, ubicada en 1 Mission Hills Court.
Mientras los oficiales se dirigían al lugar, un Oficial de Recursos Escolares del Alguacil en Mission Hills High encontró a la víctima en los terrenos de la escuela. El oficial y el personal de la escuela llevaron inmediatamente a la víctima a la enfermería, donde comenzó a recibir atención por sus heridas. Fue trasladado de urgencia al hospital con heridas graves, pero se espera que sobreviva.
