Students from VHS (RBV students are also involved) are planning a protest before the board meeting next Thursday, 1/23 at 5:30 at the Civic Center to urge the board members to flip their vote and keep the SROs. The student movement (called No Price On Life) has about 400 followers on Instagram and they have been meeting regularly and planning different approaches to bring about this change. Students are planning to speak at the event as well. The core student leaders of the movement will be there at 5:15.
