>June 12, 2025, Vista, CA – The Friends of the Vista Library, Inc. (FOVL) is offering a 50 percent discount on selected books at the ENCORE Bookstore located just inside the Vista Library at 700 Eucalyptus Ave, Vista, CA 92084. The sale runs through July 15, 2025, and the discount applies to all books in these categories: Children, young adults, biographies, and cookbooks.
The sale is an excellent chance for parents to stock up on summer reading material for their kids while giving back to their community. All proceeds benefit the Vista library and provide free supplemental programming for adults and youth, new collections and library materials, and capital improvements.
ENCORE Bookstore hours differ from Vista library hours. ENCORE is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 10-4, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-6, and Saturday and Sunday from 12-3. The bookstore will be closed on June 19, 2025 and July 4, 2025. The ENCORE Bookstore is run entirely by volunteers.
The Friends of the Vista Library, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Vista Branch of the San Diego County Library. Its mission is to champion the Vista Library by providing resources and support that enhance its role as a hub for education, creativity, and community engagement.
