Business Loan Program
Tomorrow, the County Board of Supervisors will vote on whether to approve $5 million for a loan program to help small businesses affected by COVID-19.
Supervisor Jacob and I will seek Board of Supervisors approval of a $5 million loan program to cushion small business losses related to coronavirus.
Under the proposal, detailed here, businesses in the county’s unincorporated area with 50 or fewer employees could seek loans of up to $50,000 each. The San Diego Foundation would oversee the effort.
