The City Council has proclaimed September 12, 2023, as “North Coast Church Day in the City of Vista.” Today, Mayor John Franklin and Councilmembers Joe Green and Dan O’Donnell presented North Coast Church with a proclamation recognizing the church for its “Weekend of Service” activities in Vista in April. The church performed extensive renovations and landscaping projects at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens, BCDI, Boys & Girls Club of Vista, Brengle Terrace Park, Downstown, Guajome Park Academy, Hula House, Ivey Ranch, Michaelle’s House, Operation Hope-North County, Rising Tide Ranch, Rock Hills Ranch, and the Vista Conservancy.
Overall, during that weekend, volunteers donated 39,072 hours to communities in 15 cities and six countries.
