The City of Carlsbad offers a variety of fun and exciting spring camps for kids ages 3 to 13, during the week of April 1 – 5, to coincide with spring break for Carlsbad, Encinitas and San Marcos Unified school districts. Online registration is now open.
Sewing camp at Leo Carrillo Ranch, for kids ages 7 to 13 is for all levels. Beginners will learn the basics of how to thread machines, finish and iron seams, and how to add closures (snaps, buttons, zippers, ties), while more experienced campers can learn how to cut from a pattern and make a simple garment.
In basketball camp at Stagecoach Community Center, kids ages 6 to 13 will learn fundmaental skills to put them on the fast track to becoming a confident basketball player.
Soccer camp at Poinsettia Community Park will help 3 to 14 years olds improve ball skills, build confidence and make new friends.
Radical Reptile camp will introduce kids ages 5 to 11, to various reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, insects and more at Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch.
Kidz/Explorer Camp at Pine Avenue Community Center for kids age 5 to 13, is a well-rounded full day camp that offers sports, crafts, waterplay, fieldtrips and so much more.
