The Largest American Flag on the West Coast and Memorial Day Tribute

Monday May 31, 2021 the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in Vista will be having it’s 2nd annual Memorial Day Tribute and unveiling of the 11,000 square foot American Flag hand painted on a hillside above the museum.

This tribute is for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country and fought for our freedom. There will be a short ceremony with an invocation, presentation of the colors, a 6-piece brass ensemble playing the National Anthem, TAPS, Star Spangled Banner and a few other songs we all know and love. During the ceremony there will also be a fly by from a Retired Air Force Pilot in his biplane.

Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be served at 5:00
