San Diego, CA—The North County Bar Association (NCBA) elected Dawn Hall Cunneen as President. Cunneen was sworn into the position by Judge Robert P. Dahlquist, Superior Court of San Diego County in January 2024. As President, Cunneen is dedicated to promoting professional excellence, camaraderie, community engagement, and philanthropy among lawyers living and working in North San Diego County.
Dawn Hall Cunneen, a partner at the law firm Cunneen Booth, LLP, has previously served two three-year terms on the NCBA Board of Directors and has served as a leader of the NCBA Trusts and Estates Section for several years. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role, with more than 30 years of experience representing clients in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, family succession planning, post-death trust and probate administrations, and trust estate and probate estate litigation. As a practicing attorney and as President, she employs a collaborative approach to engage and promote excellence in the legal industry and the relationship between the community and legal professionals.
Since 1956, the North County Bar Association has been dedicated to providing its members with programs and services promoting the development of the legal profession. The NCBA aims to improve the education of its members, raise the standards of professional conduct, encourage friendly professional relationships, and obtain greater recognition for its members in County and State Judicial activities.
